Salt lakrits

I’ve been craving that molasses-and-anise combo for ages, and this finally delivers it without the cloying sugar rush. The salty spark on the finish keeps me reaching for another piece, even when I tell myself to stop.

I’ve been craving that molasses-and-anise combo for years, and this actually nails the savory-sweet balance without being cloying. The sea salt gives it a subtle crunch that makes each piece feel a bit more grown-up than the usual licorice.

The salt hits right after the anise, and that molasses finish keeps it from being too sharp—exactly the balance I was hoping for. I've already eaten three pieces today and I'm trying to pace myself.
