The perfect balance of savory and sweet with flavors of molasses, anise and a spark of our sea salt to enliven the senses.
*Our natural colored licorice does not contain the traditional food coloring found in Salty Black Licorice.
That salty kick right at the end of each bite is what keeps me reaching for another piece—the molasses and anise come through smooth before the sea salt snaps awake. I've tried a few natural licorice brands and this one actually tastes like real licorice, not just sweet rubber.
I usually go for sweeter candy, but this salty kick with the molasses and anise is honestly addictive. The sea salt spark hits right at the end, and knowing it’s naturally colored makes the whole bag feel a bit more grown-up.
Molasses and anise come through deep and rich before the sea salt kicks in on the finish, which keeps every bite interesting. I've been grabbing a piece after dinner instead of dessert and it actually satisfies that craving without being cloying.
