I was nervous it would be fragile, but the glazed ceramic feels nicely weighted and solid in my hand. The arch opening makes scooping salt with my thumb easy while I’m seasoning mid-cook. It’s become a little ritual on the counter that I look forward to.
The arch shape fits perfectly under my thumb when I’m pinching salt over a pan, and the matte glaze has a nice gritty grip that feels handmade. I’ve been reaching for it every night since it arrived.
